GCB Workshop Band Vacancies

There are currenly vacancies on all instruments except bass guitar and percussion in the new workshop band. If you would like to learn to play an instrument – NO AGE LIMITS – please email geelongcb@gmail.com ASAP so you can be registered and ready to start at the first rehearsal on Friday April 29th.

    Hi, I’m looking to join a concert band just for a hobby at the moment. I studied music all through high school, and did a diploma after school – but that was many years ago [I'm now 32 years old] so it’s been a while. I can play the alto saxophone, clarinet, and flute. At the moment, I’m not excellent at playing any of them, but would like to get back into it, and if I had a choice, I’d prefer to play the flute as my main instrument. But it depends on what you need the most in any of the bands. I’m not sure where I’d fit in at this stage, as I’m a bit rusty at reading and playing, but thought I’d contact you any way, and see if you have anything that would suit my current skill level.
